I decided last week to make a career change. I went a decent local college and got my degree in accounting but I’m not happy with it. I feel like a robot day in and day out when I am at work. The truth is I only got my degree in accounting because I didn’t know what else to choose as my major. My guidance counselor in high school is the one that pointed me in that direction. I do make a decent salary but I can’t see myself doing it for the next 40 years or whatever of my life. The field I am interested in is the medical field specifically x rays. I read in some magazine that it is one of the better jobs to have especially in today’s economy. I want to find the best x-ray tech school and go from there. I should talk to my uncle about it, too. I think he works in that industry. I know you probably can’t tell but I’m pretty excited about the whole thing.
